Mike Wilton is a Director and Manchester office leader of Arup.

Dedicated to sustainable development, Arup is a collective of designers, consultants and experts working globally. Founded to be humane and excellent, Arup collaborates with its clients and partners using imagination, technology, and rigour to shape a better world. One of the largest employee-owned companies in the UK, Arup has contributed to projects in Greater Manchester for over 65 years, and its Manchester office is the home to over 500 colleagues.

Mike is a Chartered Civil Engineer, has led major urban infrastructure projects in Greater Manchester and globally, and leads Arup’s global Civil Engineering and Utilities Skill Network.

Mike is also Chair of the Manchester Climate Change Partnership, which brings together public, private and third sector organisations to collaborate around Climate Action, and is a Board Member of the North West Business Leadership Team, whose mission is ‘to bring leaders together to shape the future of the North West region as the best place to live, work and do good business.’
