On Wednesday 7 September 2022 Manchester Metropolitan University’s Centre for Enterprise will host the first annual Small Business Impact Conference.
The conference brings together local policymakers and Greater Manchester’s small business community.
GMLEP Chair, Lou Cordwell OBE is just one of the speakers who will deliver a keynote speech at the Small Business Impact Conference.
There will also be a panel discussion featuring Senior representatives from Manchester Metropolitan University Professor Martyn Evans, Dr Ann Mulhaney and Dr Carl Driver alongside Jesse Garrick Greater Manchester Area Lead at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and Janine Smith, Director of the GC Business Growth Hub
This new annual conference aims to provide a platform for SMEs to discuss challenges they are facing across the city region in attempts to find tangible solutions.
It’s a chance to strengthen the SME network across the city region, facilitate collaborations and provide opportunities for business growth.
Key topics to be discussed on the day include economic growth, digital transformation, and net-zero.
There will be workshops and breakout sessions so that attendees can discuss specific problems in depth and let us know the regional support their business needs to thrive.
The Small Business Impact Conference will be held at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School on Wednesday 7 September from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.
