Cllr. Elise Wilson
Councillor Elise Wilson became Leader of Stockport Council in May 2019, prior to this she served as Cabinet Member with responsibility for Reform and Governance. She was elected as a Labour Councillor in the Davenport and Cale Green Ward in 2014.
Elise holds the GMCA responsibility as portfolio lead for Economy in the city-region and is Deputy Chair of the GM LEP.
Born and raised in Stockport, Elise runs a local business in the Borough, and is married with three children.
